In the Field of Construction of Grid Stations and installation of Equipment,  Netracon Technologies staff has rich experience. In Afghanistan, we have assisted ABB/WHG to complete 220 kV Grid Stations in Mazar e Shareef & Pull e Khumeree & SIEMENS to complete 110 kV Kabul East Substation. Besides, we have Designed, Constructed, Civil Works, Erected, Provided Protection & Power Cabling and Commissioned   Five of the seven 132 kV Sub Stations in Karachi for ABB Germany-Pakistan Consortium. KESC has always lauded the quality & pace of the construction of these Sub stations. Sites for the remaining two are just handed over. Design & other preliminary works have been started. We have also erected 220 kV Switchyard for 175 MW Dossan Power House Dherki for SIEMENS Pakistan. We are also responsible for completion of 132 kV Switchyard for 225 MW Combined Cycle Bhikki Power Project on behalf of ABB Pakistan. Besides, we have designed the civil works and constructed the switchyards for Power House-1 & 2  as well as 66 kV Skerdu Grid Station under  Satpara Power Project for CMEC-China.
 

NETRACON has latest survey equipment and skilled staff for carrying out control network survey, topographic mapping, plan and profile drawings. Our Total Stations have laser beam facility. By focusing it we can get the complete data of the spot.


Presentation is made on plan & profile sheets at the desired scales. These plan and profile sheets are offered in auto cad format files.

NETRACON is using PLS-CADD for plan and profile with optimum spotting and automatic selection of towers. However, manual survey and spotting of tower with templates is carried out, if required by the client.


PLS CADD is the most powerful overhead power line design programm. Its sophistication and integration leads to the most cost effective designs. PLS CADD is being used by more then 500 organization in 75 countries.

Netracon has capability of designing steel towers (Transmission or Telecom) using TOWER software. All kind of foundation designs are as well made with detailed drafting facilities.

NETRACON TECHNOLOGIES has a profound section to design foundation, structures & towers as well as prepare assembly and fabrication detailed drawing. For designing towers, PLS tower (Powerline-USA) software is used. It is supplemented by experienced Auto Cad staff. NETRACON TECHNOLOGIES have recently designed towers for 20 kV & 11 kV T/Lines on behalf of ABB-Germany besides re-designing SM-SM-1 tower for PECO. On powerline side, NETRACON is using world renowned software PLS CADD for the purpose of topographical survey, profile preparation and tower spotting.

NETRACON TECHNOLOGIES has efficient and skill full foundation crews, who have vast experience of concreting thousands of conventional footings for towers of 500KV and 220KV Transmission Lines.

Besides job of conventional foundations, pile foundation is another area, where our associated piling units are known for their expertise and perfection. Pile capping structures are accomplished with perfection and precision.

Erection with Crane
In certain situations Tower Erection with Crane is suitable It is time managing way to erect the tower with less manpower.

Erection with Gin Pole
Erection with technique of using hanging Gin Pole makes our crews quite efficient in situations where use of crane is not possible.

Erection with Helicopter
In Malaysia, NETRACON mini erection crews were deployed on Heli-Copter operation for emergent work of erection of steel towers for 500 KV Double Circuit Quad Conductor Bundled Transmission Line (Line-2) in Parak. The job was done for M/S MALAKOFF /ZELLECO while heli services were provided by M/S STATTNET (Norway).

Manual Erection
On locations ,where it is not  possible to use crane or a winch, then we erect such towers without any machinery. Sometime derrick is used and sometimes only piece by piece erection is carried out.

Tension Stringing of single, double, triple or quartet conductor formation, deploying pulling/tension machinery is always carried out in most professional and efficient way.  NETRACON TECHNOLOGIES have two complete tension-stringing sets along all the ancillary equipment.  Our crews have performed outstandingly in marshy lands of Philippines, snow covered hilly terrains of Afghanistan, Chilly Kabul and extremely hot lands of Balochistan.

Optical Fibre Installation
Stringing of OPGW is undertaken with quite care. Most competent manpower is always deployed for this sensitive job. These pictures pertain to the OPGW Stringing in Kabul Afghanistan. We have capability to string OPGW on live lines.

OPGW Splicing / Testing
The job of Splicing of Optical Fibres is done using the latest equipment i.e. Fujikura Fusion splicing Unit 50s. the testing is carried out for each fibre from one end of OPGW with the help of OTDR (WaveTek).

NETRACON TECHNOLOGIES has completed more than 400 Telenor Sites on behalf of Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) in the areas of AJK, Gilgit, KKH, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Mehmund, Baujur & Khyber Agencies, Parachinar, DI Khan, Tank, NWFP & Upper Punjab. Netracon have successfully completed more than 50 sites for ALCATAL (France). NETRACON Technologies is in contract with Wi Tribe to survey, acquire, design, supply & construct BTS / Micro sites in the central regions of Pakistan.
